What a wonderful hotel! First of all the location is unbeatable. It was so nice to walk to everything and parking is easy in their lot. Plus the view! I got to sit on the porch looking at the creek while having my morning coffee- so relaxing. Secondly, the staff really goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay again when in golden!

This hotel is very pleasant! Don’t let the exterior fool you, this hotel is fully renovated inside. The room had pretty new appliances and was perfectly fine. The parking was decent. They have a surface and underneath lots. The outside was a little stinky though. Being right on the river provides good access for outdoor activities. The restaurant attached was decent.

My husband and I were married on August 14, 2021, and we held a reception for our immediate family in the Golden Vista room. The food was excellent, and the staff was so incredible! Julie helped us arrange everything! I highly recommend holding events here. Great pricing too! We also stayed in one of the king suites, which was beautiful and overlooked Clear Creek. We plan to stay again on our anniversary. Thank you to the Golden Hotel for making our day so wonderful! Absolutely everything from beginning to end was perfect!

What a beautiful hotel! I have nothing but great things to say about this place! The Table MountainInn is located within the downtown Golden area and is within walking distance of the restaurants and shops. We stayed here two nights so we could have one full day to enjoy the sites. The room was super spacious and clean (and pet friendly!). The staff were super friendly and helpful and, there is a great restaurant next to the lobby (which is also dog friendly!). We really enjoyed our stay here and will def be returning.

Took my daughter on the tour years ago. Both of my brothers in law from the 1950s My 1st one worked in the bottling plant. The other one worked on the east end in the ceramics plant with lazers they have Retired. I remember Adolph Coors. As a kid great tour.

I’ve attended several events here. This place is awesome. Alpine Club has alot of different events they sponsor and organize. Located right downtown in Golden. Mountain Toad Brewery is located across the street. Almerican Alpine Club is a great location to visit. Make sure to make a stop if you where pass through Golden.

This UPS Store in Golden has handled my mail for almost 5 years. That is a long time to experience how a business is run. I cannot say enough good things about this business and its employees. They constantly deal with a customer base that is sometimes patient and understanding and sometimes, not. I have witnessed first hand their patience and knowledge in dealing with customers and they are fantastic. I looked at the lower ratings here, not understanding how these could be valid and I see that most of them are due to process issues which are completely out of control of the the Store itself. I can vouch that they do their utmost to help customers get their tasks completed in the most efficient and cost effective way. I HIGHLY recommend this Store for any tasks that need to be done as they are pleasant and as helpful as they can possibly be!!

Stay away. ATBS does not record your information correctly and will only record the information at all if you stay on top of them. If you do not chase them down and talk to them on a consistent basis they will stop recording and just keep taking your money. If you don’t look at every statement and delineate every line in your settlement they will record things incorrectly and your statements will be only valuable for a birdcage liner. If you spend this much time you might as well do it yourself. I wasted thousands on them. I would have been better getting a 12 year old down the street.

Greg is the man. He knows all of the things. I’ve bought skis, skins, boots, avy beacon/gear here over the years and they have always gone above and beyond to make sure any gear issues are fixed, in addition to boot adjustment/repairs, ski tuning, etc. Everyone who works here has always been so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. This is a great shop.

We were in the restaurant on Sunday, June 27, 2021 around 2:00 in the afternoon. I was so impressed with how organized and friendly every single staff member was considering how busy it was that day. Watching each of the staff work together to take care of each and every customer that walked through the door was so impressive I needed to write this review. Every part of our visit was honestly incredible! From the girl who took our name to the girl who seated us to our amazing waitress Ariel F! Our food was delicious and I was just so pleased and again incredibly impressed! We will definitely be back again very soon! Thank you for all you are doing and keep up the great work!

Tree Hugger pizza was okay. I don’t think they use real dough. 😔.. Cauliflower wings were very greasy, overly salty and seasoned. Not a fan. Clean place… Staff was friendly and super attentive. Had water outside for people waiting for there food which was awesome. They also have a bunch of herbs planted along the front which I thought was super cool! I put some fresh thyme on my pizza and definitely made it better.

My Southwestern salad was really good, the ring of fire margarita was excellent, and they’ll make it extra spicy if you like. My wife’s Caesar salad was too big for her to finish and really tasty! The outdoor bar is fantastic with a good draft beer selection and a cool atmosphere. When we went (Aug 21), they were short-staffed, but those working worked really hard and kept a very friendly attitude. Highly recommend giving it a shot.

Chris and his family are great. They really care about the history and culture of Golden and CO. They mix old school CO cowboy culture with great new musicians and flavors. Created somethin uniquely Colorado that is charming and unique while also elegant. Great for date nights. Also if you want to impress out of town guests. Great music at the concert side.

Had an excellent experience here. Food was top notch, employees were all extremely friendly, and the establishment was very clean. Was able to get in quickly, and food came out not too long after ordering. I had a pulled lamb burger that I would highly recommend, but my favorite of the afternoon was far and away the cauliflower wings with adobo sauce. Was delicious and I could have eaten it as a meal alone. Highly recommend this place. Will happily return if I’m ever in Golden again. Yum!

If you are reading this trying to decide if you want to bank with Wells Fargo. This is your warning, DO NOT DO IT. Ive been stuck with this bank since I was a teenager. This bank is a scam with their fees and interest. If you need help with any issues they refer you to calling a 1800 number. Today I called the phone number they provided and got put on hold for a long period of time and then when I speak to someone they say I called the wrong department so they put me on hold even longer waiting for another person and then get told that they can’t help me. Maybe the teller at the actual bank could have told me that instead of me wasting my time on my phone.

Unfortunately it’s the closest to my house and the one I’m stuck going to. 100% of the time I go here there are tellers milling around doing everything beside helping customers, and for some reason none of them are authorized to help with lock boxes. My husband and I are very grateful to have easy access to the Golden Community Center. We enjoy going there to use the weight room, the indoor track and a personal trainer. It’s clean, friendly, and safe. It doesn’t have all the newest equipment that some more recently built community centers in nearby suburbs have, but we like what it has, and we always feel welcome there. We’re happy that it is open again on a walk-in basis. We hope the Front Porch will soon be more richly staffed and have more programming for seniors.

Contrary to its mission statement, the CMC does not care about all forms of recreation in the mountains, but is actively campaigning to take away recreational opportunities from motorized users. It has become one of the leading environmental extremist groups pushing for the mass closure of roads and motorized trails on public lands in Colorado, in a never-ending battle to secure more trails for the exclusive use of hikers by kicking out all other user groups. In their recent comments on the Pike San Isabel National Forest Travel Management process, CMC advocated for closing dozens of the most popular 4×4 trails in the National Forest. They revealed themselves to be categorically opposed to all forms of motorized recreation and completely intolerant of public lands users who enjoy any form of recreation other than their favored activities. They and their allies in the Wilderness Society and Quiet Use Coalition even helped draft an anti-motorized travel plan which would have closed crucial access roads to multiple 14er trailheads, wilderness areas, and even the Pikes Peak Highway! CMC has betrayed its mission statement of, “To unite the energy, interest, and knowledge of the students, explorers and lovers of the mountains of Colorado”, and “Render readily accessible the alpine attractions of this region”, by pitting user groups against each other and campaigning to eliminate motorized access to trails thousands of people enjoy every year and rely on for access (including hikers and other non-motorized users). If you enjoy any form of off-highway motorized recreation in Colorado, or depend on being able to drive to your favorite hiking trailhead, be aware the CMC has nothing but contempt for you and is directly working against your access rights. Please do not support this evil organization.

The Adventure Travel trips are extremely well done. You’d be challenged to find a better deal. Pay attention to the itineraries and get to know the trip leaders – each one is a little different. Unlike packaged trips from other groups like REI/NatGeo you can develop a relationship with the Trip Leaders.

There are quite a few bike shops in Golden and the front range in General. The Golden Bike shop is quite superb. I purchased my bike from them and do not go anywhere else except when traveling. The service shop is highly knowledgeable and the manager is a keen rider and ‘manages’ the shop in a very impressive manner. I think each bike shop as there own flavor if you will. GBS sales and regularly services some of the best bikes in the world (pivot, yeti…). Thus I feel highly confident I am taken care of each time and do not go anywhere else respectfully speaking.

When I got home I noticed the bike’s stem and bar wasn’t installed/torqued properly and most recently I was informed by another shop that I need to purchase new rotors and pads since brake fluid leaked all over both. I had just purchased a new rear rotor and front pads from your business and now I’m having to do this again: In addition, the front brake was never bled properly and didn’t work. Hence the additional visit to a local shop. I will be in later this month to see if a credit can be issued.

Huge fan of GBS. Definitely my go-to bike shop in Golden, and there are a lot of bike shops in town. Every time I have had a bike worked on, it has been done on time and the issue is always fixed. I try to work on my own bikes and multiple times I have gotten stuck and the service department has helped me out every time. Great bike shop.

Truly a unique atmosphere with friendly employees and servers. It felt so nice to be greeted and served by people with a smile. The cuisine is delicious, authentic, and fast. A special place in the warmer months due to outdoor seating in their relaxing garden patio. An equally special place during the colder months because you feel like you’re in a cozy Himalayan yurt. This place is so good we ate both lunch and dinner here. The great thing about the Sherpa House is that it’s not just a restaurant but an EXPERIENCE. My husband and I were planning to do the trek to Everest Base Camp in 2021 but then the pandemic happened. Dining here re-ignited that spark to go once everything eventually calms down. Another wonderful thing was that we were allowed to bring our pug with us to dine on the patio! Our waitress was so kind and brought a bowl of water out for him. And then, the food! Oh my is the food amazingly delicious!!! Even eating more than we should, we were not left with that uncomfortably full feeling one gets from, say, eating too much pizza. 🤪. We are now back in Michigan but cannot stop thinking about this amazing restaurant/culture center. Overall, the staff are so friendly, the food is delicious and the views/decor are top notch. I highly recommend this place and cannot wait to get back to Golden so I can eat every meal here. 😂😍

Nothing but beer and 3 bottled sodas and 1 kombuchka. If you are meeting a friend that doesn’t drink beer, maybe meet anywhere else. I understand it’s a beer brewery. But having zero other drink options just limits the type of customers who can stay. Why not partner with a local winery or distillery and have maybe just 1 choice of red & white wine? Or even just sell some cans of diet cokes?

Awesome place to go and just hang out. It is right next to Lions Park so you can do both of those at the same time it’s great to just walk around and see all the old historical stuff. They have a little chicken farm and you could pay a quarter for chicken feed for your kids to toss over the fence. A lot of people go there for photo opportunities for graduation photos senior pics things like that.

This is a wonderful spot to sit and have a bite to eat and a drink in Golden, CO. It’s a historical location as well! The menu is simple which we like. ( A few choices of sandwiches, a few appetizers and a few salads/soups). The service was professional and friendly.. the food was yummy (I had the veggie burger which was definitely homemade and gigantic) and sweet potato fries which tasted great but arrived cold. My husband had the bison burger which was also of epic proportions and he enjoyed it. There is an outdoor patio for warmer months and an old style looking bar inside.

Great stop. I learned so much about the science of geology and the impact and importance of mining. I truly appreciated the section on rare earth elements and there necessity for technology development. My kids ended up enjoying a scientific experience…truly a great visit for my family. The price was free and that was greatly appreciated by my wallet. Pro Tip: prepare to park down the street and walk to the museum to avoid needing a campus permit.

We drove up to the top of the mountain (or very nearly to the top) and were excited to snag one of the few parking spaces at around 4pm. The windy saddle hike is amazing! It winds around the side of the mountain right on the edge, so the views are breathtaking the entire way. There was also some light scrambling over and up the rocks which made things really exciting. I highly recommend windy saddle hike!

If you’re tubing, the river is way too crowded with too many people not even trying to avoid you. This is not a lazy river either. On the most part, yes. But you’ll get some fair drop here and there and if anyone is stuck at the bottom (which happened plenty of time last occasion), they’ll block you and/or flip you. Stopped in to visit with a 4 year old. The staff was SO kind and enthusiastic– really went above and beyond to engage with our kiddo and guide us to age appropriate activities. This is a very cool little museum where the staff are clearly very passionate.

It’s a great little museum! Has plenty to offer in terms of knowledge. Definitely the drive there is the best part. You see some beautiful sights. It’s 2 floors and might take you maybe under an hour to finish it. Anyways it’s a good time, stop by and give it a look!

Great stop. I learned so much about the science of geology and the impact and importance of mining. I truly appreciated the section on rare earth elements and there necessity for technology development. My kids ended up enjoying a scientific experience…truly a great visit for my family. The price was free and that was greatly appreciated by my wallet. Pro Tip: prepare to park down the street and walk to the museum to avoid needing a campus permit.

Awesome place to go and just hang out. It is right next to Lions Park so you can do both of those at the same time it’s great to just walk around and see all the old historical stuff. They have a little chicken farm and you could pay a quarter for chicken feed for your kids to toss over the fence. A lot of people go there for photo opportunities for graduation photos senior pics things like that.

Best brunch I’ve had in a long time. Brunch cocktails were on point. Very flavorful and well balanced. Each meal was comprehensive with fresh vegetables and well chosen proteins. Service was very timely and staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place!

Each time we go to Abejas, we have an outstanding experience and this past Thursday was no exception. The food was amazing as always. Jeremy took excellent care of us and helped make our drink choices very memorable. My wife said her Red Snapper was the best she’d ever had, and my pork chop was outstanding. Highly recommend!!!

Nice place to take family or meet friends for a casual dinner. Lots of great appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and a few entrees on menu. Everything we’ve ordered has been very good to outstanding. Large servings, cheerful staff. Noisier than I would like inside (often hard to hear tablemates), but I’m an old fogey about noise. Expect to wait about 30 minutes for food after placing your order for main dishes. It’s worth the wait! Best to make advance reservations, especially if you want to eat outside, where it’s quieter. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

I forgot to specify that I was gluten free and had asked for no bun on my burger, not knowing that their fries were tossed in a beer batter… and the bun accidentally got on my burger. They were so kind and accommodating to me and redid my order without hesitation… 5 star hospitality, no attitude at all, they were just really nice about it so thank you, I really appreciate the good service. Excellent burger too… yum! Really cool spot- definitely recommend.

Expect a quality sandwich from D’Deli. The only down side is that prices are a bit on the higher end starting at $9 for a half and $11 for a whole size. They have white and wheat bread. They really shine with a massive selection of sandwiches and customization. It can get busy at times but I would recommend stopping by and giving it a try!

Hole-in-the-wall that can easily be missed or dismissed, especially amidst the other local options. That would be a shame though, they make great sandwiches and the folks behind the counter love to have a laugh. Had a great time in the less than 10 minutes it took for my sub this most recent visit. D’Deli should add Heroes to their name, because they are mine! Be forewarned, expect a premium price for a premium experience.

We were in the restaurant on Sunday, June 27, 2021 around 2:00 in the afternoon. I was so impressed with how organized and friendly every single staff member was considering how busy it was that day. Watching each of the staff work together to take care of each and every customer that walked through the door was so impressive I needed to write this review. Every part of our visit was honestly incredible! From the girl who took our name to the girl who seated us to our amazing waitress Ariel F! Our food was delicious and I was just so pleased and again incredibly impressed! We will definitely be back again very soon! Thank you for all you are doing and keep up the great work!

Good pizza and great wings. We got the buffalo wings and there went hot and delicious. The pizza was good with a bunch of varieties as part of the buffet. Definitely a place to come back to. Tree Hugger pizza was okay. I don’t think they use real dough. 😔.. Cauliflower wings were very greasy, overly salty and seasoned. Not a fan. Clean place… Staff was friendly and super attentive. Had water outside for people waiting for there food which was awesome. They also have a bunch of herbs planted along the front which I thought was super cool! I put some fresh thyme on my pizza and definitely made it better.

We picked this place because we wanted good Thai and wanted to be able to walk there. The food was good. Chicken satay was yummy, the three flavored chicken was crunchy and had good flavor, drunken noodle was tasty. Portions were large enough for a take home meal. Our server Kim was excellent. Truly a unique atmosphere with friendly employees and servers. It felt so nice to be greeted and served by people with a smile. The cuisine is delicious, authentic, and fast. A special place in the warmer months due to outdoor seating in their relaxing garden patio. An equally special place during the colder months because you feel like you’re in a cozy Himalayan yurt. This place is so good we ate both lunch and dinner here. The great thing about the Sherpa House is that it’s not just a restaurant but an EXPERIENCE. My husband and I were planning to do the trek to Everest Base Camp in 2021 but then the pandemic happened. Dining here re-ignited that spark to go once everything eventually calms down. Another wonderful thing was that we were allowed to bring our pug with us to dine on the patio! Our waitress was so kind and brought a bowl of water out for him. And then, the food! Oh my is the food amazingly delicious!!! Even eating more than we should, we were not left with that uncomfortably full feeling one gets from, say, eating too much pizza. 🤪. We are now back in Michigan but cannot stop thinking about this amazing restaurant/culture center. Overall, the staff are so friendly, the food is delicious and the views/decor are top notch. I highly recommend this place and cannot wait to get back to Golden so I can eat every meal here. 😂😍

However the crab filled pasta was superb, maybe the menu needs some more fine tuning. Will I come back probably not but a solid 4 stars given how amazing the crab pasta was with the ehh service.

A hidden gem on the main strip in Golden. Great spot to grab something quick to go with tons of flavor. The wraps are delicious and so affordable for the amount of food you get!! My husband and I literally crave the wrap we get and go out of our way from Denver to get it. They also are very kind to those with allergies which is much appreciated and hard to find!

Nestled in the heart of Golden’s Historical District. This chic little wine bar is a great place to relax and enjoy a glass, bottle or flight of wines. The flight list has a great word play on the selection. The portions are wonderful and make for a nice pairing with your wine selection. Giovanni greeted us and Meghan served our wine flights and appetizers with a smile and a welcome. We recommend a visit on your next stop to Golden.

I like this place. There’s a nice wine list and decent appetizer menu, which is what I like from a wine bar. I really enjoyed our time today with bartender Megan! This was our second visit and it was much better than the first. The staff seemed more full and better prepared today than our first visit. The temperature of my rose and my husband’s chenin blanc was perfect and the mixed olives with warm pita bread was very nice. It’s nice and quiet inside on a Saturday afternoon, though outside seating is popular and seemingly preferred by customers. I personally prefer the quiet indoor atmosphere, though I bet sitting outside will be nice when it cools off. We’ll be back! Thanks for a nice break.

Just went here for the first time with my father. He got the shrimp tacos, I got the pastor. Both were very tasty. Pretty unique flavors. People complaining about price, it’s 10 bucks or so for 3 well sized tacos. I don’t get that. Try this place, was very good and we will be returning!

Can’t praise this place enough, every single person we interacted here with from the host, to the server, to the guy we asked for directions to the bathroom, were incredibly personable and friendly. The beignets were delicious! And the deep south Benedict, as well as the fried green tomato Benedict, were delicious and cooked perfectly. I can’t wait to come back again, this will definitely be our go-to brunch spot.

As a southern gentleman of distinguished taste there are a few things in this world I take very seriously and among them are biscuits, gravy, pimiento cheese, and fried chicken. I am here to tell you the chicken pimiento cheese biscuit at Sassafras is excellent on all four counts. Perfectly executed and it pairs wonderfully with their hashbrown casserole that is so damn good any southern grandmother would be proud to claim it as her own at the church potluck.

Food was pretty good but the service was horrible. On 9/6/21 we came in after 18 holes of awesome golf at Fossil Trace. Bartender (older gentleman) sat us. Waited around for 5+ minutes and I decided to go ask the bartender for some waters as he was not doing anything. He went to grab me two bottles of water and I said no I would like glasses of water for our table. He asked where I was sitting and then proceeded to tell me that “we have staff for that.” I told him we were waiting for awhile after golfing in 90° weather. He went back to the kitchen and 5 minutes later we got water. Wanted to blame just the bartender for this poor experience, but after we got our food we ate and had to ask our waitress for refills and a box. Sat around for another 10 minutes totally being ignored and had to ask again for our check and a box. The restaurant was definitely not busy, open seats everywhere, and I can see why.

Pronounced at Shnepps. Colorado is all about views and this is a restaurant with a view. I and my friends requested for outdoor seating, watched the sunset as we had food. The waitress and hostess were very nice. They have few options to order and the food is amazing. I suggest getting a reservation. It’s a busy restaurant.

Went here for lunch this past Sunday. Sat on the deck overlooking the golf course and lookout mountain. We sat for a while without being acknowledged by 2 different waitresses. When our waiter (1st day) finally appeared he was excellent. The food was good. The only problem with sitting outside is the bees.

I drive 35 minutes every month at least to get a burrito from Bonfire. They can not be matched. These are the best burritos I have ever had. I’ve been coming since they were in their food truck. I’ve had both their breakfast and lunch burritos and have never had one that was not as good as the previous. If you are looking for a excellent burrito, this is the place.

Great experience once we had a table. Walked in for lunch and were told it would be 50 minutes for a table. We went shopping and never got a text saying our table was ready. So we walked back after an hour and asked. The hostess said they were having problems with their internet so the message never went out. They then seated us right away. Our food was delicious and hot. The service attentive. Would have given 5 stars except for the technical difficulties. Outside seating in September was just right under an awning outside. Nice view of the river and trees.
