    I didn’t know that vinyl insulates the home, which reduces the cost of cooling and heating. I can see why this would be something to remember if you live in harsher climates. I’ll have to remember this if I move to somewhere with either a lot of snow or really hot.

    It’s true that vinyl is low maintenance. All you would have to do to keep it clean is to brush it off with a broom or maybe spray it down with a hose. If you really want, you could use a power washer every once in a while. You wouldn’t even have to worry about the pressure damaging the siding since it is pretty durable.

    I like how you mentioned that vinyl is a more durable siding option. My husband and I just moved into an older home, and we want to replace the siding to improve its appearance. It would be nice to have something more durable so we don’t have to worry about replacing it again for some time, so we’ll look into vinyl.
